SPDF Day 16: Medical Update. My doc was alarmed by my bloodwork the other day and called me in first thing this morning. It has been only 16 days without food but my potassium has plunged and heart attack is not far behind, and I have another months work to do here on Capitol Hill so, although that would be an immensely merciful way for me to terminate this, much more pleasant than the options I face, the timing is not good Bless her heart, she is trying twice a day potassium tablets on me and zantac to try and make the pain of it manageable, and if that doesn't do it, she'll do IV. She wants me back Monday for more bloodwork and Tues to consult on the results. She is truly and Angel. She is Truly an Angel. A pretty young Georgetown Med grad that devotes her life to we homeless, and does her vacations healing folks in Haiti.

The Terminal part of this campaign will be pretty tricky. I have zero support, am all alone in this. And at the end negotiations will be needed with hospital, police, psychiatrists... that I be allowed to become one of the statistics, that I may die so a Palestinian child has a chance of living. SPDF day 15: terribly sick last night and this morning. Arrived here on Capitol Hill by 7 a.m. I was on the hill yesterday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The sickness is, I think, a self inflicted wound. Night before last I learned that my body can no longer tolerate a potassium tablet. I thought it could tolerate a magnesium tablet, but it turns out I am sadly mistaken. My stomach hurts like hell and I have waves of nausea. I have lost much of my strength but mercifully a hand truck I ordered arrived last night which makes it somewhat more possible to transport my stuff to and from Capitol Hill and this weekend to and from the White House.

Due to the total corruption of the US media and the US Congress by the American and Israeli Zionist lobby the Palestinian slaughter is somewhere between invisible to the all important US people, and totally corrupted in the picture that they are shown. They are not shown the innocent population being terrorized tortured tormented and terminated for 68 years. Unbelievably heroic freedom fighters. They are shown terrorists, backward Arabs, blood thirsty Muslims. Lies, horrible evil lies. But that is what the American public sees.
But congress, at least, can see people sitting and dying of death fast on Capitol Hill. And if they are white, disciplined, respectful, peaceful, dignified, it is more difficult to tar them with the Islamic terrorists brush. It is slightly more difficult to ignore them.
And there is this thing called the Internet. And with the Internet some one, or those, dying to save the life of even one Palestinian child, those doing so on Capitol Hill, can have some visibility to the rest of the world.
I have no doubt that the current probability given all the so called free Palestine activism in America, the current probability that the Palestinians will ever be free, restored to their full human rights, and avoid complete extermination, is zero. I defy anyone to on the basis of fact dispute that. That is 100% unacceptable to me.
The Palestinians are part of my family, part of my flesh and blood. I cannot accept, I will not accept, this probability. I have no doubt that by my giving my life to death fast here on Capitol Hill my life can count at least as much as one Palestinian child who they, and my fellow Americans, cannot see, I can accelerate the process by at least that one life. And I can think of no option available to me that I would rather take.
Israel is facing the same kind of struggle that many other countries have encountered -- between democracy and theocracy. Unfortunately, Israel has recently been headed in the wrong direction. I will again become a supporter of Israel when it lives up to the ideals in its Declaration of Independence by putting human rights and social justice above sectarian concern and treating its minorities as truly equal citizens.

SPDF Day 14: I visited my doctor this morning
SPDF stop Palestine death fast day 14: I visited my doctor this morning and she was wonderful. She seemed to understand what I was doing, unlike prior fasts I have been on. I told her I hoped she would help keep my mind going as long as my body does. I hoped she would check my blood work periodically and she agreed that that would be a good idea and she wants to and will do so. I am very grateful. My last fast by day 17 I was in the hospital with dehydration and dangerously low blood potassium. The other day I purchased potassium tablets, took one last night and was up half the night with a horrible stomach ache. Potassium taken either IV or by mouth on an empty stomach is very very very painful. I told my doc of this. She insisted on doing blood work today. And if and when she sees my potassium going lower she thinks she can get me tablets that will be much easier to absorb.

SPDF Day 12: Fuzzy-headed, weak, eyesight failing, but functioning. I've ordered a hand truck to pull my backpacks. Should arrive Mon nite. No more strength for carrying that 40-50 pounds of stuff the 16 to 35 round trip blocks to my demonstration sites. Onsite again yesterday at NPR 6:50am until 5:30pm with the posters. Tomorrow I expect to be at the White House, not that it is strategic to my work... what we need now is not general informing... what we need is the tip of the spear piling up their dead bodies to start a fire, as I am with this Death Fast. What we have now is not a fire, ever. Just more and more wood being gathered, drying in the sun, cuz that's easy, safe, fun, and lucrative to do, and makes us feel productive without doing shit. With nothing to ignite it, well, right now, the only thing the f'ing left is doing is killing time, that is, killing Palestinians, with their feel-good bull-shit a-historical, a-theoretical masturbating each other. Eleanor Roosevelt said it well: "She who would give light, must endure burning." But I'll go to the White House tomorrow anyway, 1. Because the weather is supposed to be non-rain, and it is better to work online there rather than hidden away in a room, and 2. I'll probably have some few folks come up to talk, attack, harass, support, thank... and I'd like to take a pulse of what is going on with them. Mon - Thu, weather permitting, I'll be on my major site, Capitol Hill, to put my dying body in the face of the Congressscum where they slither to and fro. I"m determined to drag it out for them for another month, at least. And thereby to also keep my dying body in front of the do-nothing, pay no price, party party party left, tho both groups are near perfect in their capacity for denial and dismissal. I'll be late Mon a.m. cuz I'll be seeing my doc, hoping she will agree to monitor my blood-work periodically. I want to keep my brain functioning as long as my body holds out. I need the time to finish my blog, a small book on the Strategy to Stop Palestines Death Fast, and at the end, seeing as I have zero support organization, I'll need some wits about me to finish this thing as effectively as possible... negotiating police, eviction from the homeless shelter once they find out what I'm doing, finding a place on the street again... disappearing at the very end, or negiating forced hospitalization, release, back on the hill, forced hospitalization, back on the hill... institutionalization and or prison.......

SPDF Day 9. Priorities: I do not know how much time I have left. Had I thought of an answer about five days ago I'd have thought just two or three weeks. I've never been so sick on any sort of a fast. Not nearly. But after being re-hydrated at the ER, and after some useful conversation there, as to diet, 100 calories or so per day to treat my extreme fatigue so that I can mobile, as I demand to be... my guess now is that this being day nine I have another month or two before going terminal. For this I am grateful. A longer show, a longer dramatization of the Holocaust, is a good thing, on Capitol Hill, Online, here in front of NPR (Nauseating Pablum Radio where I am this week till 7pm or so each night), and at the Washington Post and White House when congress is out of town and weekends.
But I don't know how long I've got. And for now I'm guessing that the nature of my online activities will change substantially.
As I noted yesterday in a crucial Blog Post (http://jesusgodgoodetcnjay.blogspot.com/2015/03/pjc-of-bibi-and-barack-jvp-code-pink.html), Palestine was dying, is dying, for a lack of activists of REMOTELY the caliber, soul, commitment, embrace of the truth, determination to pay the price... that we last saw back in the sixties. So my high priority is to do some further work on my blog (which is easily gotten to by googling 'start loving,' or using the easy to remember relay site http://start-loving.blogspot.com), to devote my efforts to updating that blog, that message in a bottle I am leaving to the future, so that if after I'm gone someone's heart is awakened, someone's conscience is awakened, the curiosity of some serious soul is awakened, that I can serve them as best as possible based on my adulthood-long practice of high stakes leadership, high-stakes change, nonviolent study, nonviolent leadership, nonviolent (unviolent) practice.
Much of my time has continued to be devoted to studying the news on the extermination of Palestine and posting important stories. I'll continue the study, but I suspect I'll Post far fewer of the stories to conserve time and to avoid watering down the more strategic posts.
And the news doesn't change. It's the same moment by moment, hour by hour savagery, depravity, NAZI-esq, violation of all that is human and decent, moral degeneracy exceeded only by that of we Americans, we citizens, that sit by while our tax dollars, our weaponry, our power to obstruct in the United Nations, are used to torture, torment, terrorize, and terminate this part of the family.

This meme I just created is mean and cruel. It is mean and cruel if facing the truth, the facts, in time to do something about it, regardless of how uncomfortable is, is mean and cruel. Today's liberals in, the United States at least, ever since the late sixties, never never never never never do this. They are my brothers and sisters. I love them. they have the right, legally at least, to choose what they are going to do. It is not my business to try and control what they do. it is my business to provide input, regardless of how unpleasant it may be , or a personal price, the total isolation, that it has cost me these last 6, 7, 8 years. Total exile . In my view I can think of nothing more mean and cruel than for the free Palestine movement to continue in the disgusting delusional thinking that currently and up until now embraces it. It too refuses to face the facts. It refuses to ask the question, regardless of how impossible, regardless of what would be the personal cost to me, what would it take to stop this genocide? It truly, savagely, mercilessly refuses to ask that question. If one does asked that question in light of all proven nonviolent theory, and the history of all proven nonviolent movements, then something like the meme above emerges. In a wonderful quote from Martin Luther King jr., he said, the three who walked past the victim lying by the dangerous road asked the question, if I stop, what will happen to me? The Good Samaritan ask a different question. If I do not stop, what will happen to him? If you find this post offensive, maybe you can be a little forgetting. I am on day 8 of the Stop Palestines Death Fast.
