nd. My doc and thought I was headed to the ER today. I had a total blockage of my digestive trac judging by the symptoms since last night. Saw the doc at 8am today who said, 'get ready to go to the ER by tonight.' Huge abdominal distending, and pain, since last evening, worse by morning, little sleep last night. I was resting at 9:30 am on the only side I could bear to be on... and like a switch was being thrown... I felt the blockage cease, I think. Doc thinks with all the cancer surgeries I'm prone to adhesions. Looks promising for the last few hours. Fingers crossed... well... fingers typing... now that the pain has subsided enough.

I don't figure that Muslims killed more than a 2 million people or so in political violence in the entire twentieth century, and that mainly in the Iran-Iraq War 1980-1988 and the Soviet and post- Soviet wars in Afghanistan, for which Europeans bear some blame. Compare that to the European tally of, oh, lets say 100 million (16 million in WW I, 60 million in WW II - though some of those were attributable to Buddhists in Asia - and millions more in colonial wars.) Belgium - yes, the Belgium of strawberry beer and quaint Gravensteen castle - conquered the Congo and is estimated to have killed off half of its inhabitants over time, some 8 million people at least. Or, between 1916-1917 Tsarist Russian forces - facing the Basmachi revolt of Central Asians trying to throw off Christian, European rule - Russian forces killed an estimated 1.5 million people.

nd. I'm really struggling, physically, mentally. I feel like I'm drowning in the world's evil. I am being drowned by the world's evil, by Amerikkka's evil, by the Zionist's evil. I was born and raised in a materially over-protected, idyllic bubble - anyone would envy it. I would not trade one second of my life now, for then. I think that is surprising. Prefer drowning? I would not trade one second of now, for then. I'm aware that I don't like living; I dislike being alive in these times. But what bothers me is for the last 4 weeks since the last operation... I'm between shallow and deep depression... and functioning at a very low level in terms of fighting the evil. I have so little strength, physically, and emotionally. This will pass. I think it is part of the work... allowing one to be broken by the evil... periodically... regularly... to emerge repaired, more capable, wiser, more able. I hope this phase passes soon. Writing about it, sharing it, is part of the healing and growth process.

They either drive or use the underground tunnels. On weekends it has been too cold for people seeing the white house to pause and reflect on the posters. Currently the forecast suggests that maybe this weekend or next week it will be warmer for the vigil to make sense restarting. The meantime I will rest, heal, study, fight online.
