Identification: Jesus believed that the Creator was dominant with in all of as children. The worldly cultures around us draw us out of that family. By totally identifying with the Creator within him he made that manifest, and made of himself a Beacon of light to some others of us to return to that family, to return to that total identification with the Creator in all of us. A personification of our highest moral capacities. That in essence we share with all mammals. But unlike them we have the ability to stray and nearly all of us do. And with practically no such beacons we never make it back. Establishing more beacons to restore the flock was the entire work of Jesus life, for the joy, peace, life, and love of it.

ReplyDeleteA billion would say the same. All but one in a million of them know the Jesus that they have quickly conjured in their imagination or been told by some Christian cult. Not one in a million have devoted their life to knowing him, and the creator. It's all there, buried under all the dogma and mysticism in the gospels. But no one's taking the time. I hope you're one of the exceptions.
