Of the two only great psychologists, Alfred Adler said that the hallmark of mental/spiritual health was courage, and the hallmark of the opposite is cowardice. Adler was a Dr. of the Mind, of the Spirit, as am I. Adler did NOT view 'cowardice,' as a slander, a put down, as derogatory, and neither do I. He, and I, view it as a diagnosis of the most deadly disease of all.
I can't think of a word that more captures the Divinity of Jesus than Courageous. 'Whoever claims to abide in Jesus aught to Live just like Jesus Lived.' John (2nd letter). To be Courageous, properly understood, is to be Christlike. And, it is impossible to be Christlike, and NOT courageous.
I Live to unleash the Courage, the Christlikeness in me and others. I will therefor pay any personal price to avoid enabling cowardice in anyone Our Father places in my path.
I can think of nothing that better captures the Truth of America, and Americans today than 'cowardice.' There are at best 1 in a million that aren't centrally afflicted, dying from it, Dead by it. Virtually everything sanctioned by our sickest of all societies is an explicit shield used to hide this cowardice from OURSELVES - and nothing moreso that the ch'rch, cr'stianity.
I have the sense that my life, my path, my walk, my example is contributing in some miniscule way to an awakening of courage in few, tragically few, people.
I have the distinct impression that my relationship with some has had the exact opposite impact - that our relationship has been one factor in enabling deep cowardice; that it is one of the many factors enabling another to AVOID, courage - Christlikeness; to enable 'denial.'

L, I hope you haven't walked into a buzz saw here. I'll be posting more throughout the day.
1st, per the reaction of Ms. W (mildly attacking you for supporting my work) - remember the hate that Alice and those standing with her drew? That's me. 1 in a million, the people of Heart, 1 in a million, respond well to me. To the rest, I'm the devil.
2nd. At the completion of day 3 I terminated what I expected would be a 10 times longer fast. I'll be blogging on this today, to let folks know why, but basically, it is because from the vantage point of being on the fast, I could see what I couldn't see before, and that is that we the sheeple are not nearly as far along as Alice was when she did her strike, where people were on the verge of 'getting it' and her action held the hope of pussing them over the edge. We're not even close to that, and may no longer be even capable of it, and I give Pr. Obama credit enough for seeing that. Dying for a cause is like totally ok. Needlessly throwing one's life away, is not, because we must every second look for how to best use our Life to serve. I've already resumed my slightly more conservative fighting - literally every waking breath. Anyone that isn't doing likewise is insane. Insane, and will regret it the rest of their lives. More later.

Day 3 completed - Fast Aborted
Day 4 is when the bowel shuts down completely, requireing a nasty restart period - at least, that's how I used to work. Guessing that it hasn't changed, I couldn't find any hope in what I was doing, not that justified the price. The chance of my beloved Pr. Obama getting word in his lifetime of the message I was dying to get to him, was zero - at least, through my highly taxed mind / heart / spirit of day 3 - extremely fatigued / weak - I couldn't find a shred of hope.
So I've just taken calories. More tomorrow - I see notes from some of you. I'll read and reply tomorrow, Good willing.
For the first time in all my years of hunger striking, subsequent to eating now, I'm seeing some new things about the conditions surrounding strikes that have had hope - and none of them apply to me / now.

I totally didn't see this coming but wham, my Heart, the highest form of our intelligence, which doesn't ask permission, just says, 'here's what you are going to do,' announced last evening that at midnight I'd begin a fast to be a Prayer for Pr. Obama, US, and all Creation. I'm not expecting a reprieve, tho that happens sometimes.
I expect that by this evening I'll be in front of the White House, abstaining from everything except water, as I am now, until they cart me away somewhere's between 25 and 60 days. I've never gone without vitamins before, or electrolytes, or salt, and my body is clearly damaged from my prior major strikes. But this time I will abstain from all but water, and be sitting or standing in front of the WH 24 hours per day. No lying down to sleep. Yuk. :-) There's no time left to mess around.

I ADORED Iron Jawed Angels. I adored it. On the women's suffrage movement. Who knows which parts were accurate, which not. But they were immensely True to life; all. In the movie, Alice Paul is in solitary, in the psych ward, on hunger strike. Why? Does she know? Does she know what she is going to achieve? Is it part of some plan? Not according to the movie. She knows she is not going to eat under the present circumstances. She can't live with the status quo. something has to change, so the change is going to start with the only thing she can control - herself. I don't think she knew any more than that, except, that she didn't see a better way, or one with as much promise. Me either.
SC, today, I expect to label my computer, suitcase, big construction bag I lug, with a little lie - 'Property of S____ C_____ - work phone 302.xxx.xxxx .' Sorry. It places you under zero obligation. ZERO. But if it comes to me being permanently dysfunctional, just seems a waste of resources to not have the stuff liquidated and the money do some Good. So, I hope you would, retrieve, and liquidate. I'd want the money to go to Greenpeace and Jewish Voice for Peace.

My life for 3 years has been 100% devoted, at unviolent war, everything I am, and everything I have, every breath (true) to avert the equivalent of US and specieswide armageddon - 1. Environmental Ruination (global warming, earth destruction, population bomb, poverty bomb - Plan B 3.0), and 2. Averting the final moral ruin, and possibly WWIII given the US policy equivalent of supporting the insane right-wingers in apartheid SA, or 1930's Germany - the insane, totally lawless right-wingers in Israel.
I BELIEVE PR. OBAMA IS WITH ME TOTALLY IN SPIRIT ON THESE TWO ISSUES!!!! I'M SURE OF IT. I think he has calculated that the best thing to do is to finesse these two with all of his massive skill.
But he can't do that. He hasn't the right. America, Americans need to be given the opportunity, the full opportunity to fight these two fights, or we, our very Soul, our country, and and a habitable planet are gone.
