Major CT Scans sched Oct 14, and all is satisfactory, surgery Oct 17, 8am.

My doc wants to see everything stabilize post op before checking into possible Parkinsons.  Thinks thumb twitching and hand shaking could be related to all the cancer stuff.

Cancer Update: Just back from the ER

After yesterday's passout on the bathroom floor, this morning started with an am visit with my Wonderful Primary Care Doc, who tested me multiple ways, but sent me on the the ER at Georgetown for immediate blood test results.

They are fine. 

It is well documented that urinating can do that - make you pass out. A key nerve, vegas(?), runs right past that area and sometimes it gets triggered and shuts everything down. 

Tomorrow I see my doc again for cold meds, prostate stuff, and to discuss whether I may be symptomatic of early onset Parkinsons.

It has to do with political extortion: Republicans' threats to close the government or default on the nation's debts if they don't get their way. The President and the Democrats must not negotiate. Once you start negotiating with extortionists, there is no end to it. Extortionists will hold the nation hostage again and again. Any law on the books they don't like, any tax their wealthy patrons detest, any regulation their corporate bank-rollers would like to do away with, any subsidy or bailout their Wall Street underwriters desire, will be fair game. Let Republicans carry out their threats. Let America see them do it and experience the consequences. And then let us send the Republican Party into the dust bin of history.
