But McKibben hasn't the Moral right to hold himself up as some important leader, and at the same time act in a way that makes an entire mockery of the magnitude of the Environmental, Armageddon Doom that is all but certain unless people stand up now, today, with the courage of the 1920, 1930's blacks in this country, those like Steve Biko in South Africa, the 100's of thousands of young Egyptians just a year ago.... There is more at stake now, and the opposition is more vicious, criminally insane, powerful, and infinitely more hidden in the very fabric of western culture than ever the Earth has seen.

McKibben, you should be ashamed. You are not responsible for stopping this Armageddon. You are not responsible for who does or does not show up to fight. But as long as you hold yourself in the position you do, you need to measure up to the Bikos, Rachel Corries, MLK Jr's, Gandhi's, Wael Ghonim's in the COURAGE OF YOUR ATTEMPT, OR GET OUT OF THE WAY.
