If I have to choose between which is more dangerous, 1. Scientists that deny, that are blind to, that are not in awe of, that there is a force of creation behind everything, and 2. So-called religious folks that deny science, I'll go with number one. By every objective measure it is number one that is necessary and sufficient for all life on Earth to be destroyed. Without number 1 there is no fracking, no deep sea Drilling, no nuclear weapons, no Advanced Weaponry of any sort, no global warming, no massive Wall Street Trading, no Global destruction of the environment.... Yes, they both concern the hell out of me. But objectively, the Liberals, the scientists, are in the final stages of destroying Earth. Not the religious lunatics.

Science vs Religion (thinking of the recent Nye vs Creationist debate): Have you ever been watching a movie for the first time and someone starts to whisper how it ends, and you say I DON"T WANT TO KNOW! ? Sure you have, me too. You like the feeling of being in the story, in the fantasy, for the several hours, me too. Most in organized religion have decided to Live the Fantasy of their religion - they find it exciting, meaningful, comforting, affirming, providing community.... My point isn't to defend the fundamentalists - I have zero affinity with them. But surely, if they want to make of their life a fantasy, that is there choice! Nye, and the Left, does not seem to have a clue that this is going on with these folks. Nye, and the Left, has chosen to make the bedrock of his life science, objective fact, objective, measurable reality. The Religionists have chosen fantasy. There is no basis for these two sides finding a shared vision or common set of beliefs. The Left refuses to see this, as does the Right. I'm amazed and concerned at the universal blindness on the Left regarding this;; I expect it on the Right because they've chosen fantasy.

I don't believe in physical Miracles, Healings, etc. There are many reasons, but the one that is the most important to me - THIS IS NOT WHAT A LOVING 'FATHER' DOES. I mean, a loving Father hears his child's desperate plea for help, but sits on the sidelines, NOT HELPING, until some 'believer' comes and Praises Him, Tells Him how much she or he Loves Him, that He is Great... and then when that Father, IF that Father, hears such an intercessor, then, and only then, that Father gets off his ass and does something???? That is not what Loving does! That is NOT my Father. WE are the ONLY miracle that was put here - none other. The Father is hands off now. It is up to us, His Loving now OUR Loving in our Hearts, to be the Miracle. No other Miracle is needed. Your brother forever, no matter what
