How I wish I could tell you to delay digging into this book
now. How I wish I could point you to
others that do it’s job, better, as well, at all. But I can’t.
Dig in, but for another couple of weeks, Creator Willing,
you’ll have the additional task of keeping the following in mind, changes that
are in the works for the book in 2 or three waves:
1. The
entire notion of “death,” “dying for a cause,” for the joy, life, hope, sanity,
humanity, future giving of it… is and remains central to the book. However, as I’ve known and lived for years,
but briefly lost confidence in recently, is that there is a place, narrow and
near impossible to find, there is a place for “dying for a cause” that is not a
“Death Fast,” or “Self Immolation,” or the like. Teresa of Calcutta died for her Family in
Calcutta for decades, with immense joy, but unmistakably dying that her charges
might have the experience of being loved and valued before they passed on. Pathologically we the most powerful people on
earth, we Americans, have perverted the notion of “non-violence” to mean,
non-violence to ME, and MINE. Gandhi did
the reverse, as did MLK Jr, Rachel Corrie, Bonhoeffer, Oscar Romero, who spoke
of the ‘Violence of Love’ that we unviolent warriors do to ourselves. No, non-violence, unviolent action is the
exact opposite of what we’ve distorted it to mean. By the INSHE Warriors worthy of the name,
throughout history, unviolent action has been exactly racing toward the
emergency, the danger of others, and exactly putting and keeping ourselves, and
our dearest ones, our bodies in harm’s way, to shield the otherwise victims,
until they were saved. So, near
everywhere in the book that you find Death Fast as the only way, you will soon
see that slightly broadened to include especially, what I conducted two, 50
day, water only hunger strikes last year to seed – waves of to death’s door but
not though hunger strikes until carbon warming gas dumpers are paying their
future wrecking costs, and not sending those costs on to our children.
2. The
need for substantial focus on subsidies and not just on the legislation to
insure full payment of $240/ton of coal and oil, and $6000 per ton of natural
gas seepage, after a straight ramp to those figures beginning 2012. In recent weeks Republicans Inglis and George
Schultz, Reagan’s Sec. of State, and others on the right, have been calling for
the carbon gas dumpers to pay their costs for that, but that all subsidies,
fossil fuel and renewable energy alike, should go away. The market forces being held in abeyance by
the future killing free dumping of warming gasses, those pent up forces are so
enormous, that I need to, and expect to re-examine both the historical size of fossil
fuel US subsidies (I may have overstated them in the book by as much as a factor
of 5-10), and whether subsidies need to be an aim of ours at all right now. Getting enough of the dumping and wreckage costs
on the bill of the dumpers now, may well be more than sufficient.
3. 1.5
degrees C, NOT 2.0 degrees C!!!!!!!!!! What does this mean to the numbers, the tons
of carbon we yet can burn, the rate of decrease in emissions required by when…?
4. Pricing
Methane Seepage correctly, fully, now. My
quick search suggests vs the $240/ton on CO2 it is $6000 per ton on natural gas
seepage, but this needs more checking and thought.
5. Rechecking,
re-calibrating, and where necessary, updating in this book the crucial figures that
we moms and dads of the next 200 billion children, grandchildren… need to know to
properly stand for our kid’s future. What
is a reasonable estimate of the damage done by burning each ton of coal and oil
– is it the $240? $11,000? What is a reasonable estimate.
I anticipate these updates happening in waves: A. rough cut;
B. far more detailed analysis. There is a

WHY HUMANITY IS SURELY DOOMED NOW

Friends it is 99.99999% a problem of being, a problem of philosophy. Everything else is the symptoms of that.
"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ," said Gandhi. "Be the change you wish to see in the world," he also said. "They will know you by how you love," Jesus said.
Except for their stupid philosophies, we adore Jesus, King, Gandhi, Rachel Corrie.... Don't we? We do. Clinically, that's hypocrisy. Clinically, linguistically, academically, radically, meaning, at the root, that's hypocrisy, lip service.
Winston Churchill, clearly one of the most effective leaders in human history, said of Americans prior to Americans coming in on the side of Britain in WWII, "Americans can always be depended upon to do the right thing; after they've exhausted every other option."
What Churchill did not need to consider, and did not need to address, because the reality of his time was different, what he didn't need to address was that which will be our fatal exception. Churchill didn't need to consider a killer that is physically unseen, and a killer that is physically us, our way of being, our way of being.
We ADORE what Jesus taught, except for the core portions of it - laying down our life for our brother, selling all we have and giving it to the poor – the philosophy stuff; the 'being' stuff. We adore Dr. King's teachings and example; everything except for placing and keeping our bodies, including those of our dearest loved ones, those most immediate to us, in harm's way, for the course of our entire lives. We adore Gandhi's teachings. It's the doing it; it's the 'being' the change that the world needs to be. It's the 'doing' it that we find utterly absurd and ridiculous, stupid foolishness.
Loving, this isn't time for philosophy!
Gandhi's strategy was to 'be.' Jesus strategy was for us to 'be' a certain way. MLK Jr's strategy was for us to 'be' a certain way. All else, for them, was meaningless details, because their faith (well founded, mature Vision) was such, that by being a certain way the fundamental state of being which is what the Creator would have us be - creatures that were purely and simply universal Love, creatures that were purely and simply living out of the part of their nervous system that was the option for love, the heart, as opposed to the head and the flesh; it was so clear to them that if that happened they would get everything else that was required – courage, strategy, action, Loving, brilliance, perseverance, vision, unity…. If I turn on the PC, I get Word and Excel, I get video processing; that's trivial. It's not trivial if there's not a power source; it's is not trivial if the computer hadn't been created. But if it was, so the fundamental task is to turn it on. And by way of furthering the analogy, we want to use it as a paperweight. We want to use it as a doorstop, as a club… everything but as a computer. We want to use our bodies, our nervous systems as a drug store; as is an entertainment center; as a bludgeon; as a point of physical force; everything but what our being was designed for - to be the Creator, through us. To be a molecule, an organism, the local piece P I E C E of the Creator, everything but that is what we use ourselves for.
This is why humanity is doomed, friends. We are in the exception that Churchill didn't have concern with. It wasn't the issue of his time. He knew that the Nazi threat, the Japanese threat, eventually would become sufficiently and concretely manifest that the human species of his day would respond. It was not the issue of his day, what is now the issue of this day - that the threat would be us, would be our way of being, and that the threat with would be a colorless, odorless gas produced by our way of being.
"Americans can be depended upon to do the right thing, after they've exhausted every other option." And Gaia can no longer give us the luxury of our thick-headedness; our stiff-necked-ness. She's given us all the rope we need to hang ourselves, our children, and we are going to hang ourselves, children first.
So to me it's clear that we are no longer fully human. We've de-evolved, mutated into an un-adaptive, un-viable species.
I've been, and remain profoundly moved by the unspeakable injustice that is the allowing of our sins to crush the next 200 billion children.
But it may be true, and it may be a truth that I can learn to face, that there are no more human children. There will be no more human children; only more sub-species children, our children; the blight that the great Ashley Montague and other great intellects and scientists have spoken of; that as early as the 1950s Montague saw we had become and spoke of with great sorrow and anguish and pain.
There may be no human species to care about, and the one in 1 million that are the exception, that are always crucified, as Jesus was... they're going to be okay. Yes, they're going to suffer more than most physically because they won't indulge the selfishness to put themselves in gated communities. Quite the opposite, they'll run toward the emergency of others. But that's not where they live. They live in the state of being that's Heaven; and that is the heart; their bodies are incidental.
So the human species, this is why it's doomed.
But more to the point, the human species has already ceased to exist. Maybe you can see this, maybe you can't, certainly I can't prove it to you. But when Gandhi said, 'I like your Christ,' the historical record is pretty clear - Jesus, for Gandhi, was the epitome of humanity, the epitome of human health, above all other people that had ever existed. Not a superhuman for Gandhi, Gandhi was explicit about that. He was the icon of human health, Jesus was, for Gandhi. Gandhi also said, 'If Christians would actually practice their creed there would be no more Hindus; and Gandhi is known to be a devout Hindu; an ardent Hindu. So again, Gandhi holds up Jesus as being the epitome of human health, the healthy human being; the least toxified by our environment. 'I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians,' I like the health of Jesus, I do not like the health, the humanity, the subhumanity of those that call themselves Jesus' followers. They are so unlike him, they are so unhealthy, they are so subspecies.
This is the problem friends, and it is the central problem that we have made a culture of avoiding and burying, and distorting, and camouflaging for thousands of years. And like Jesus, and Gandhi, and King, that tried to turn us away from the cliff like they foretold; no, we're headed off the cliff; passionately pushing our children, first.
Friends it is 99.99999% a problem of being, a problem of philosophy. Everything else is a symptom of that.
The only hope, THE ONLY HOPE is the mass spread of the new way of being, the new philosophy EMBODIED, LIVED as did Gandhi, King, Jesus….
How to BE Human, as they were? Rekindle in ourselves the Characteristics that were so clear in them, and I've counted about 106, and created a Personal Trainer to re-inflame them within myself; and so others could do the same. There is no other way.
There is NO other way. Why would we not use this personal trainer, and chose another way? Oh, the excuses would be infinite in their variety, but at the root, for the same reason we've not followed Jesus' teachings for 2000 years. We don't want to, and we are willing for our children to bear the consequences.
And those that don't use the Personal Trainer, well, they are not seeing what the true problem is, and they are not on the Path to becoming the Cure. Period.
"Americans can always be depended upon to do the right thing; after they've exhausted every other option." Uh, not this time. Not unless you become the Cure. Fast.

About 2 years ago I finally got close to 'getting' Luke 14:26.
What came to me was:
'JESUS ONLY CAME FOR, JESUS ONLY CAN HELP THOSE THAT CAN'T LIVE, WOULD RATHER DIE THAN ACCEPT, THE STATUS QUO.'
Take me seriously for a moment on this. How many people do you know, how many can you name in history, or in literature... that literally, actually, can't live with the status quo??? Any???? Really????? Jesus couldn't. Rachel Corrie couldn't. Neo, in The Matrix couldn't. The 20,000 documented European Non-Jewish holocaust rescuers couldn't - hmmmmm - 1 IN A MILLION - that's about right. 'I could have saved thousands more, if I could have convinced them they were slaves,' Harriett Tubman.
ALL BUT 1 IN A MILLION, RIGHT, LEFT AND CENTER
A. CAN LIVE WITH THE STATUS QUO;
B. ULTIMATELY WILL DESTROY YOUR LIFE IF YOU TRY TO CHANGE THEIR STATUS QUO; OF YOU THREATEN THEIR STATUS QUO IN ANY WAY. FOR CERTAIN. INCLUDING, ESPECIALLY, OFTEN, THOSE CLOSEST TO YOU, DEAREST TO YOU, BECAUSE TO THEM YOU BECOME THE MOST IMMEDIATE THREAT.
BUT I DIDN'T SEE TILL TODAY, TODAY!, THAT THIS IS WHAT LUKE 14:26 IS SAYING:
* If you become a threat to the status quo, literally, they will kill you as much as and as fast as they feel they need to, to stop you as a threat - job, reputation, career, relationships, connections.... Malice? NO! Self-preservation! It has taken them whatever lifetime they have to find their 'survival,' their 'way of life,' within the status quo! THAT IS THEIR WAY OF LIFE, THEIR WAY OF BEING!
* You don't think they will 'kill' you as much as they need to to protect that? THEY CAN, WILL, AND DO. COUNT ON IT.
* So, unless you hate the status quo OF YOUR MOTHER'S JOYLESSNESS, FATHER'S JOYLESSNESS, CHILD'S JOYLESSNESS, WORLD'S JOYLESSNESS, FUTURE'S JOYLESSNESS... MORE THAN YOUR OWN LIFE - JESUS TEACHINGS ARE NOT FOR YOU! LIP SERVICE to Jesus' teachings, and those like him? Oh, that's a whole different matter - ask the 2 billion christians, my brother and sisters all. Ask the activists of today, my brothers and sisters all....

I'm tired friends. It's not my intention to show that to you, as I find that and other things possessing me this morning it's not my intention to hide it from you either. I experience it as a badge of sanity. If in this most significant time in human history one isn't exhausted, one is insane.
As I've spoken of several times in the last day or two, the part of our nervous system I understand to be the Heart, the place of Divinity, our Fathers Kingdom, has gifted me with a point of perspective; a place to stand from which to see more clearly, that I never could have imagined. And that perspective I was sure was given me to understand specifically, more specifically, more clearly, in a more enlightened way, what I'm called to do to play my part of changing the course of history. This is exactly what your life should be devoted to right now. And to understand how to change the course of history relative to averting climate Armageddon, which soon will be unavoidable but it's not at this moment, it is still avoidable at this moment.
So I jumped to that new perspective and I've spent considerable time there in the last 24 hours. That perspective being a member of the population of Earth, 2050 life-support destroyed Earth, environment destroyed Earth, oceans dead Earth, oceans 2 feet higher Earth displacing hundreds of millions of people and wracked by the wars over land, food, water that unleashes. Unimaginable today, storms Earth 2050, no coral reefs Earth, half the world's species extinct Earth, no rainforests Earth. Hope for nothing but a massive acceleration of that carnage Earth; where it's certain that instead of 2 foot sea level rise, that within the lifetime of those children, and their grandchildren, it will be 20, 30, 40 foot rise.
Clearly, the part of my nervous system understood as the Heart produced that point of perspective so that I could see what to do to avert that environmental Armageddon. And spoiler alert, I invite you now, at this moment, to pause this video, and to do the same, to imagine that you're a mom, or a dad in 2050, a child or an aunt, or a grandmother in 2050. And if you could instruct someone today on 2012 Earth, not with some special weapons, not with some special powers, not with some special technological knowledge, no none of that is possible; but imagine you could communicate back to a simple person like you or me, what would you want them to do to alter your history, to alter the path of history?
That's what my mind gave me and that's what I give you, and in a moment I'll tell you what it's done within me, but first please, pause this for a moment, an hour, a day, whatever it takes for you to gain your own perspective of what you would want to communicate back to someone in 2012; a way that you want them to behave, what you want them to attempt, Unviolent, to change human history, or violent if you want, but I can't believe you're so stupid as to not see that violence can only bring on a greater horror than we're currently headed for. I mean that honestly and with respect. If you determine I'm wrong you please tell me. I want to know what to do here.
Oh, you're back.
So, what I totally expected was clarity, instructions on what Unviolent act I should now undertake, an escalation from anything I've done before to avert climate Armageddon. And to my ongoing amazement and shock, that's not what I got. What I got was - send us INSHE warriors; send us insanely humane; send us Rachel Corries; send us Diane Wilsons; send us Brian Willsons; send us Col. Ann Wrights; send us people that are unmistakably insanely humane, that's what they are. People that live and breathe from the time they get up in the morning until the time they to go to bed, to alleviate suffering and bring joy on this planet, no, not the token bullsh*t that we allow to masquerade as kindness; the occasional kindness, when useful, when nice, no no no no no. Think of the people I just spoke of, and if you don't know them do a little quick research. You can't research on maybe the best example I know, my sister Hope in California. But you can research these other names. And you know others - no longer with us in body, Teresa of Calcutta, Francis of Assisi, Gandhi, the frontier Gandhi, Ghaffar Kahn, look that one up, read his book; Martin Luther King, the white kids that left their colleges back in the 60s to go help uneducated blacks organize and register to vote in the God scary farthest reaches of Alabama and Mississippi. No, that insane humane.
Not your God damned church folk, I'm told, from our family in 2050. Don't send us any of your god damned church folk, don't send us any of your god damned christians, or jews, or muslims; don't send us those. I'm told in 2050 Earth, we've got one in a million of us that are insanely humane. Insanely humane the way every cell, every organ in your body is; as is every species except us, totally devoted to the well-being of the species like we're all designed to be. We of 2050 don't need more books, bibles, whaterver, we don't need rituals, we don't need escapes, we don't need to hear escapes from our responsibility to one another in this life because there will be another life after this one. No, save us your bullsh*t. Send us people of Love. Send us Christs. Send us Christ-likes, by whatever name, by whatever creed or of no creed at all. We couldn't care less. But we are dying for sanity here. We're dying for people that are insanely humane.
This was shocking to me friends. And exactly what Jesus saw 2000 years ago.
So the people of 2050 don't care about the wreckage of life-support on their spaceship, that we didn't give a sh*t to stop today? Of course they do. But one, what they see as infinitely more valuable is the joy and the hope and the life of sanity, as opposed to the virulently malignant Christo capitalism that's killing us today.
Allegedly Jesus did physical healings, maybe so. Clearly his life was devoted to the life of the Spirit, avoiding Spiritual Death. Was he some lunatic? Was he some stupid dreamer? No. So what I hear totally unexpectedly from our brothers and sisters of 2050 is, send us life, not one in a million. Figure out how to change history so it's 2 in a million, 3 in a million, 10 in a million… Do what you can but devote your life there.
And oh, by the way, two, there's no freaking way you can mitigate climate Armageddon, without those people in the vanguard. It's not going to happen, because you'll have nothing but your insanity of Head and Flesh ruling, which only knows how to rape and plunder and destroy. It knows nothing else. So yes we care about the wreckage you sent us. We want you to change the course of that history. We don't want that wreckage, but it's only going to happen by raising armies, we'll settle for a Navy SEAL group, of insanely humane Unviolent warriors. Do it, God, do it, or at least attempt it with everything you're worth, please.
