NOTE: Little added to Tracking Plan B. There's no news, just HIstory. We've known what was needed for 30 years or more now.

NOTE:  Little added to Tracking Plan B blog  TPB .  There's no news, just History, re-written by the millions of words per day - pure intellectual masturbation - McKibben, Romm, et al.  We've known what was needed for 30 years or more now.  We obviously want NOT to act, but to run out the clock on our Affloholic binges.

Who gives a f*ck about our kids, and grand kids.  NOT US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  OBVIOUSLY.

Joe Romm's Deadly Denial Unabated - The Atlantic

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/10/why-arent-politicians-listening-to-joe-romm-about-climate-change/263432/

Loving's comment:  I'm sorry.  Yes, that congress is not listening to 1 man, this is such a break with US and world history history of massive change!  Remember how they listened to 1 woman and gave women the right to vote?  Remember how they listened to 1 man and passed civil rights legislation?  Remember how it was the voice of 1 man that ended the Vietnam War?  Remember how the voice of 1 man got rid of Mubarak in Egypt?  Remember?  Oh.  Never mind.

Romm is like Captain Ahab with this maniacal quest to bring congress to heal, single handedly.  Tragedy.  He, and the rest of the intelligencia on the left are vastly more valuable to the fossil fuel industry than the industry's own lobbyists.   The oil shills deny the science.  Romm and the the rest of the climate club deny not one, but  three things:
1.  The true human suffering already underway and impending.  Oh, they write ad-nauseum of the impending horrors, but you can see from their personal non-commitment, non-risk... that it is all abstract for them, remote, removed, academic; with the possible exception of Hansen who has put skin in the game.  The rest of the climate club, their own kids will be 'fine,' and you can see that in the seemingly infinite lipservice spit-balls they hurl for decades now at an industry after $20-80 trillion in fossil fuel reserves.
2.  They deny that there are only two means of bringing mass change - violence and unviolent action, and that the core, the very stuff of unviolent action is voluntary personal suffering.  Oh yes, he, McKibben, and the rest of the climate club say, NO, we can do this on the cheap;  Few if any need to suffer.  As I said, the deniers on the right deny the Truth of Science; the deniers on the left deny the Truth of unviolent historical change.  Gandhi, MLK Jr faced and embraced the essence of unviolent action.  Romm, McKibben, et al, make a tidy, self-righteous living, denying it.
3.  Romm and the rest of the climate club deny personal responsibility to meaningfully act.
Unlike the fossil fuel lobby, Romm flies under the radar of well intended folks, confuses the well intended as the right could never do, and costs the fossil fuel industry not a cent.

That Romm's complicity is something he is in psychological denial about makes it no less deadly.

Hmmm.  Einstein too was a physicist.  'The test of insanity is doing the same thing over and over [frenetic blogging, blaming of Washington, free-lunch 'demonstrations' in Romm's case for decades now]
and expecting different results.'

GWDF2 D15H11 Extensive Pain, and Dr. Brown Convolutions Slow Down

GWDF2 D15H11 Extensive Pain, Elections, and Dr. Brown Convolutions Slow Down

The 9 day escape from hours per day of abdominal pain has ended.  Thank goodness for the new meds, but their effect was temporary.  Evaluation for tests is October 11 at which point they become scheduled.

The pain for hours per day makes work difficult, and at times, dozing is all I can manage.

Also, Dr. Lester Brown's Plan B 3.0 is to locked in, what, infotainment?  Self-aggrandizement?  Puffery?  Unraveling it for the Actionable Essentials is insanely slow, and maybe impossible.

I may be forced to jump over #4 to #5 - Dr. Joe Romm, Actionable Essentials, and that may provide enough of a framework to come back to #4.

GWDF2 D15H8 Road-trip War Chest - Accepting Pledges

GWDF2 D15H8 Road-trip War Chest - Accepting Pledges

[Johnny Appleseed; Paul Revere...; may point the way for me, at this time.]

[Note, share this with friends.  SHARE THIS WITH FRIENDS.  Yes, it is time for folks to find new guts, boldness, venturing outside our comfort zones....  WAYYYYYYY past time.]   [Oh, uh, share this with friends.]  [Yes, even NOW would be a good time.  We are as much as 15-20 years too late on getting started here.]

Accepting pledges, not funds, but pledges, so I know what support could be there if I need it.  Giving me some idea of your thoughts of your aggressive support / solidarity (zero 'charity' accepted), if you have them, would be very useful to my planning.

For many years, 9 or so, the vision of walking the country has been in and out of my mind.  With my within the last 2 weeks Vision, Revelation that like with Wall-e, there are no signs of Life on earth (Life: that which JOYFULLY, TOTALLY risks all against existential threats to it's children; like my father's generation did against the Nazi threat; True for every still-viable species, which we humans have ceased being, NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE), the idea of traveling the country, by bike, pulling a cart with "Save our Kids, Kill GHG" sign;  stopping in town squares to 'soap box...,' is raging back into my mind.  Why?
#1.  To search for the 1 in a million insanely humane (INSHE), and help them understand the existential threat of free dumping of GHG;
#2.  Raising general awareness of the GHG Existential Threat - Ecocide; Envirogeddon.

I'm one of the few (fewer than 2?) that understands this issue at an authoritative level in my Head (there are thousands who also do) and in my Heart (the other being, uh, who, based on their behavior, who?  MK Golden.  Who else?????)  My understanding is growing by 9-12 hours per day of deep study of the best, most authoritative information; 7 days per week, every, EVERY waking second.  Maybe approaching the Masters or PhD level already, within several months there may be none that have my Heart AND Head grasp.  The DC, national, and international 'clubs' on this issue, scientific, 'activist' have world-class defenses against me and anyone not in the 'club (placing the club members, their status quo, comfort, above humanity)' but some folks in towns around the country, don't have those defenses against a guy 60 year old guy in questionable health, with facial tattoos, adoring Jesus, adoring every species, every human, risking all, giving away totally, 100% for free, multi-degree PhD level skills and expertise that industry paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year for, in my earlier life  (SL , TPB .  Somewhere along a 24 / 7 / 365 multi-year nationwide bike trip there could be some insanely humane, of Creator knows what background creed age socioeconomics... that could come to realize that a planet without life support can't deal with the issues they've otherwise been fighting for; and that they need to focus on GHG so they have time for the issues they already were on.

What funding would I need?  Not sure yet.  Maybe none.  Maybe some hundreds of dollars.

Two insane angels in my life have already proveded  funds that might be enough, safely hoarded in a bank.  Due to them I have laptop, wifi, basic solar power, and basic solar power storage.  But I see additdional needs:

*  Bike
*  Bike cart; and maybe just the cart - walking may be the best way for me to go.
*  Signage suitable for an arduous trip
*  Light-weight sleeping bag - all season
*  Additional solar panel
*  Enhaced communication vs what I have now - I'd need the biggest (rural, nation-wide) wifi network / communication and that could involve a 2 year contract with Verizon, and maybe a smart-phone.  I'm envisioning doing this in a way that enabled me to remain hugely productive in study and publishing on the internet as I bike, or possibly, so I can work on computer, act as a mule to the cart of stuff I'd drag.

Anyway, this is what is raging in my mind.

Timeframe?  The (Actionable Essentials (Drs Hansen, Romm, Brown, Stern, IEA, EIA...) books I'm working on for you, are also for me - establishing a world-class, authoritative scaffolding for me of the basic information that John Q's need to advocate for the next 200 billion kids.  These will keep me pinned down here another few months.  But then I'd be free to head south in the winter months, on the journey.

Oh, uh, ps:
[Note, share this with friends.  SHARE THIS WITH FRIENDS.  Yes, it is time for folks to find new guts, boldness, venturing outside our comfort zones....  WAYYYYYYY past time.]   [Oh, uh, share this with friends.]  [Yes, even NOW would be a good time.  We are as much as 15-20 years too late on getting started here.]

Book 4 - desperately need reviewers - Dr. Lester Brown - Carbon. Actionable Essentials.

Please let me know if you will.

Solid progress is being made on book 4:  Dr. Lester Brown - Carbon. Actionable Essentials.  It is a practice more common than not in consulting of all types, and Dr. Brown is a consultant, to generate your next billing with your current one, by leaving so much hanging, raising so many questions that you are asked back time, and time, and time... again.  Brown, in his same canned talk for 6 years now, tells a story to this effect about himself.  :-(

Some delays are from me trying to keep basic tabs on Libya, Egypt, War-Monger Netanyahu, Election....

I've worked thousands of hours to try and unpack Brown's "Plan B 3.0" over the years, and I'm far from at the end.  This is not admirable about Dr. Brown, that he makes his information so opaque.  However, that book was and remains one of the most important.

This upcoming Book 4 will be a big step forward in unpacking the essentials, but it won't be the end.  But it will be the end for now.  Then on to other key material, Dr. Joe Romm, Economist Nicholas Stern, IEA (international), EIA, US.

The Hansen, Romm, Brown... books will receive some sort of final revision after these next books are completed, being updated with the various pieces of the puzzle that doing each book brings to the table.  Argh.  Criminal that it is left to a normal citizen, Loving, to do this.

I NEED REVIEWERS - GRAMMAR, MY DYSLEXIAISMS, COMMENTS, RECOMMENDATIONS, SUGGESTIONS...  Please plan on this 1-3 weeks out.

GWDF2 D15 Hold: On Hold the Death Fast is now. 9/11/12

I don't know what has changed, but something(s) has, and I must get my arms around it, and I need a clearer head to do so.  For an indeterminate number of days, I'll hold at D15 by going to a maintenance diet at this weight of approx 157 lbs, down 10 pounds from my starting point 27 days ago.  I expect to consume 1800 calories per day.  I expect to remain on post 22 hours per day here at the embassy working on "Actionable Essentials 2 - Lester Brown's Statements," and possibly several more in the series in the process of gaining the personal clarity I need to proceed -

As of now, "you look thinner than when I saw you 3 weeks ago," I was told Saturday; indeed I am, having adhered to 900 calories per day - half rations, my 'maintain' target being 1800 calories per day.

I don't know what has changed, but something has.  Some element or combination of:

*  Feeling the pregnancy of a next Pr. Obama term.
*  Slightly renewed confidence that he and Chu have been quietly waging war against env armagageddon with ARPA-E - see Atlantic article.
*  The slightest of optimisms that we may be better off than I thought:
a. Lester Brown's 3.0 may have been needlessly pie in the sky - calling for accomplishments by 2020 that James Hansen may not call for until 2030+;
b. On some or all fronts renewable energy may be moving faster than I or anyone thought due to technology, price points;
cwhat impact the global economic slowdown - how much time is that buying us;
d. Is natural gas giving us an added 2-5 years?

*  Where are we?  I'm getting closer to answering that, these last few weeks, so I have an acute sense that I maybe can, and need to find out with higher clarity where we are, before I should have my life terminate on less than now close to available to me information.

GWDF2 D14b Less pain today. WOOHOO!

Well, I can't hardly walk standing fully straight or normal speed, hurts stomach too much.

But WOW, I'm nothing but grateful for feeling better than yesterday.  Nothing but grateful. The Creator sent in two angels to get me meds yesterday, out of the Blue, and maybe the meds helped; maybe it is just the natural cycle of whatever it is that's broken inside me.

But whatever.  I'm nothing but grateful, nothing but grateful that it doesn't hurt as much as yesterday.  So far, I can work through the pain I have, today. Thank Creator.

I'm continuing my diversion from Book 4 -  "Actionable Essentials 2 - Dr. Lester Brown's Words," and finishing Book 1 - "Global Warming's Death.  Fast,"  to absorb all I can learn from the DNC and RNC coverage and speeches.  In another day or so of that I expect to go full time on the books for maybe 2 weeks more, get them done, and spend every second I have left on the Zero Calorie, Global Warming's Death Fast, and phone work for Pr. Obama.

Except today, for about 4 hours, I'll visit with my best friend, the woman I was married to for 2 and a half decades.  She's coming to visit from Phila.  Miracle.

9.06.2012

GWDF2 D14a Re-electing Obama, saving America, 200 billion, my final days will be spent on this

There are two books I must finish:
1.  Actionable Essentials 2 - the words of Dr. Lester Brown.
2.  Updated Book 1 - Global Warming's Death. Fast.

This should take me 2 more weeks.  But what then?

Well, I've known that my major contribution then is to put the last measure of my devotion behind what I've written, lived, and spoken about averting Environmental Armageddon, standing on the shoulders of the world's most qualified Doctors - WWIII interrupted.  Well, ok, but that will take probably 4-8 weeks before I'm in an urn or force fed for my remaining years in an istitution.  Ok.

Last night and tonight I remembered, and re-discovered what I'll spend the rest of my time on; just what I devoted EVERYTHING to 4 years ago.  I've said and written what needs to be said and written on averting Environmental Armageddon.  Beginning in about weeks, dropping from 800 to zero calorie Death Fast, I'll do what I can to drive it toward people's hearts, until mine stops, or is destroyed by the status quo.

But some of the time, in early weeks anyway of the zero calorie part, I'll remain lucid.  There is much, much, much I planned to study.

But there is too much at stake - the future of America, and as goes America, so goes the world.

Soon, I'll get a cell phone funded for unlimited use for the next 2 months - and I'll be on the phone most every lucid moment working as a volunteer for DNC/BarackObama.com after the books are done, to Re-elect Pr. Obama, and keep Gordon Gecko out of the hen house.  With my last breath.

Oh, uh, no.  I haven't heard Pr. Obama tonight.  He hasn't yet spoken.  I've heard enough.  I know enough.

This is what I expect.

GWDF2 D14a Nov 2012, 2-3 day Book Slowdown. Being 'Schooled' by the DNC convention -

GWDF2 D14a Nov 2012, 2-3 day Book Slowdown.  Being 'Schooled' by the DNC convention -

I sure didn't anticipate this, but I'm allowing myself to divert several days now to being 'schooled' but what I'm finding to be brilliant, humane, scholarly, substantial speeches at the DNC, on:
  • Humanity
  • America
  • Values
  • Economics
  • Good vs Evil
I don't know that we've had such a collection of serious citizens, patriots, intellectual and moral power, so intensely and seriously focussed... since the founding of the Republic -
  • Michelle
  • Cory Booker
  • Castro
  • Clinton (Soul-less, but utterly brilliant; savant-like)
  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Fluke...
  • ... and tonight Pr. Obama
Were I expecting to live, or if I had more simultaneous lives, I'd spend days or weeks internalizing the immense wisdom on display here in the videos and transcripts.  But having only this one, and not expecting to live through the year, I still find that this is such an immense educational opportunity on so many levels, I'm diverting at least several days to the convention, and cspan replays of key speeches.

And this will divert me from Book 2, that I've been crawling toward for years now - bringing the Carbon portion of the brilliant, cursed, convoluted, inspired - Plan B 3.0 by Dr. Lester Brown to the same 'Actionable Essentials' treatment I just gave Dr. Hansen's work.

If I had 10,000 more lives, seriously, I know how to get this big stuff fixed.  But with just this one?  Not looking good.

But I'll keep doing my best.
