Cycling log, February 8th. Oh yeah, this is a recumbent!

The big objective today was to allow cycling to be a background task so that constant study during the three and a half hour trip could be a thing. Much more successful than prior times.
There did seem to be a substantial Revelation. This is a recumbent. And this has to do with the position of the back. On all but the steepest parts of the trip the inclination of the body is to sit a little bit up right, even a little bit. Instead, remembering to keep the upper body in as recumbent position as possible, seem to do amazing things by allowing the forward parts of the thighs to execute a very pronounced cyclical pumping action that had a very definite rolling aspect to it.

Another objective was to avoid the extreme discomfo and severe  hand pain from cold  causing me to pass out the other night. The importance of this is when there is severe discomfort it is very difficult to  avoid that being a distraction from the needs of the clients, ransoming Souls. So unlike prior trips  the outer shells  4 pants and upper body  we're warned the entire trip with the same one layer underneath.  This was a major Improvement. Enough so, a proof-of-concept, that relatively affordable winter cycling pants jacket and overshoes were ordered tonight.  Borderline between luxury and necessity.
