Yes yes yes. Spaghetti legs, accelerate cadence for power. Repeat….

A good voyage today confirming the rather ecstatic reports of yesterday. 2 days is not proof but it is very encouraging.

Make no mistake this comes on quite a few days
now a very acceptable cycling period of weeks or maybe months of acceptable cycling with very few deviations from that period

Possibly the central discovery yesterday verified today is that maybe every time that there has been high levels of performance sustainability Automatic cycling that unbeknawnst to James spaghetti legs, completely relaxed legs from the groin outwards was in place with so many different mechanisms Achieving that but through secondary means. Today was an affirmation of that but this time the primary notion was, James, legs, completely relaxed.

The pivotal time to establish that is when things change, acceleration it might be called. Whether from a standing stop or coming into an incline, any change that impacts velocity and resistance.

Maybe halfway through today's journey what was becoming clear, what became clear, was that the inclination when such changes occur are to slightly decreased cadence so that the legs can find their points of leverage. And luckily it was discovered that this is the exact opposite of what James happily wants to do. Rather when those transition points are encountered what James wants to do is slightly or more increased the cadence.

Why is this so crucial? It is so crucial because one, the former, sets up the notion of power in individual strokes and power within the stroke pressing down. No no no no no. The other, going for at least slight acceleration all at the perineum and within the pelvis Actuates the muscles quite differently, not triggering that power attempt but moving in the direction of turbine.
