globalization, rampant automation of decent jobs, 400 families with 50%
of the wealth, US citizens asleep; oh, and earth uninhabitable in as

many of these, i think, are the same things
i just want you to know that i notice your comments and that i am also concerned about how discouraged you seem to be right now
wish there were something i could say or do . . .

MR, your comments are kind, and
from you, a serious worker, they mean a lot. I am depressed. So was
Lincoln, sane, while many in his day were not. I will never know that
there is zero hope, but it is my duty as a brother to assess honestly,
and to speak honestly. The article speaks the truth I've been screaming
for 5 years, but more current, and even bleaker with the updated
science. Gandhi believed in the Truth, as do I. Miracles, when they
come, come when Truth is told.
My biggest concern, as crazy as it sounds,
is that no more babies be born - it is just too cruel to bring them into
the Likely Hell.
And what Harm in speaking the Truth I did tonight in
the face of our near infinite, time-killing denial? Oh, it will winnow
the small list of those that listen to me, oh well.
Personally, as of
today, I expect my life is radically shifted, away from averting the inevitable
now, toward:
1. Pleading that we stop having more babies until we've
created a non-Hell future for them; and
2. I'll do what I can financially to help
the two bio-offspring of mine, survive the Hell of a future I've not
been able to avert for them;
and I recommend similarly to others.
