I think it was a Fleshly war of the Spirit against him.
However, there is another possibility, based on some things I've read
that seem credible. And that is that Constantine basically called in the
church leaders and said - here's the deal: you make this 'religion' of yours
something I can control, make these Christians subservient to me,
NOT to this Creator guy, OTHERWISE I will wipe off the face of the earth
every evidence of this religion.
I'm quite sure this happened. The question is:
DID THEY, AT THAT TIME, SO DESCECRATE JESUS TEACHINGS TO:
A. Save their Fleshly influence?
B. Save what portions of the Truths
of Jesus teachings in the hopes that
future generations might return to the original Truths?
